Your personal information stays confidential. HugTheGrump does not sell or rent it.

What we collect. Only what we need to process your order. Your name, email, shipping address, phone number if you provide one, and your order details. Payment is handled securely by Shopify and we never see your card number.

Why. To process your order, ship it, send you your tracking number and answer your questions. We only send promotional emails if you asked for them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share with. Only what is needed to deliver your order, which means Shopify as our store platform, our supplier, and the carrier. Some of them are located outside Canada, including in the United States and China. Shopify also processes certain data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and advertising. We use cookies that are necessary for the store to work, such as your cart and checkout. We also use advertising and analytics tools from Meta, TikTok and Shopify that place cookies and collect information about how you use the site. This helps us measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested. You can refuse these through your browser settings or the banner on our site.

Retention. We keep your information for as long as needed for your order, our exchanges and our legal obligations, then we delete it.

Your rights. You can ask to access your information, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent by writing to HugTheGrumpHeated@outlook.com
